About the Artist
I was born in Toronto, Canada, and taught myself to draw from an early age. I remember when my mother first recognized how much I loved drawing. That year, she gave me my first easel and a full-spectrum set of pencil crayons—a gift that helped encourage what would become a lifelong passion and calling.
I drew throughout my childhood and eventually received some formal instruction before going on to major in art at Central Technical School in Toronto. From there, I attended George Brown College, where I studied Graphic Design.
Although I ultimately chose not to pursue graphic design as a full-time career, I continued working creatively through part-time freelance design, creating logos and desktop publishing projects. At the same time, I continued painting and occasionally accepted commissioned work.
My first collector became an important part of that journey, commissioning multiple paintings of famous musicians he admired. Over the years, many of my commissions came from people who became collectors of multiple pieces. I also had the opportunity to sell a painting through an auction in 2003.
Since then, I have continued to develop my work and share it with the public. I held my first solo exhibition in Toronto, and after moving to Vancouver, I had the opportunity to participate in a group exhibition, 'Titties & Weiners', where I sold one of my pieces.
Today, I specialize in airbrush and traditional paintbrush techniques, as well as Adobe Illustrator, combining traditional and digital approaches to create original artwork, illustrations, and custom pieces.
As an emerging and growing studio, I’m focused on building my portfolio, connecting with collectors and the community, and continuing to see where this creative journey takes me.
